This year I officially started teaching art lessons in the public schools
through a program called Keren Karev.
I teach grades 1-3 at Ben Tzvi in Afula once a week.
I have 2 classes of each grade and 143 pupils all in all!
It’s definitely quite a challenge but I love it!!!!
Lesson 2:9/10/13-Mirror Mobile Mandalas
I wanted to start them off on something simple yet colourful and fun….it being my birthday I decided to do something I love!I love colour, pattern and mobiles... and so inspired by Paintedpaper’s Mexican mirrors we made mandalas that we could hang up as mobiles.
I gave each kid a circle drawn on colour paper and on silver paper(my hubby and I sat up all night drawing them-as I only have 45 mins with each class)
We used black marker pens, pastles and felt-tip pens.
The results were amazing !Big smiles all around!
